Personally, watching the visuals was my preferred means of enjoyment, dim the lights and allow the visuals to compliment the audio on a cool summer evening.
Tokyo based beat-maker Sweet William released an eclectic, 14-track album titled “Beat Theme” available on all major streaming platforms. This new album release from the young Tokyo based beat-maker arrives as a 14-track production consisting of eclectic tracks drawing fusion of late 90s hip-hop and traditional classic Japanese sounds. Sweet William plays with low-slung beats and laidback hard hitting styles offering depth on this all-new album, a body of work that the beat-maker says he began working on after the release of his 2019 EP, “Brown”.
I started working on this album right after the release of my EP ‘Brown’ in 2019, and it’s my first album under my own name since ‘Arte Frasco’ in 2016. This is the first time I’ve made an album where Instrumental or beat plays the main role, and this Beat Album was made with the help of many people. I feel like I can finally take a step forward as a Beatmaker. I hope you enjoy listening to it, dancing to it, and watching it in many different places.

To create an accompanying visual aesthetic to the album, Sweet William commissioned acclaimed illustrator Moeno Otsu to create a series of animated loops for each individual track.
